The BJP in Madhya Pradesh on Monday expressed confidence that the party had succeeded in winning the trust of Muslims in a way that it will redefine politics in the state.
National vice-president Prabhat Jha told reporters the partys confidence stemmed from the response Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Jan Ashirwad Yatra got while covering 142 Assembly seats. According to Jha,the partys minority vote share will increase up to 20 per cent helping it win as many as 170 out of 230 Assembly seats.
The party claimed that besides social schemes for the minorities,as many as 11 Muslim leaders have been appointed on government positions with entitlement to vehicles fitted with red beacons. He claimed not a single riot was witnessed in MP in the BJP rule.
