Top seven blue-chip companies lose Rs 32,219 cr in market capitalisation

The m-cap of TCS jumped Rs 137 crore to Rs 3,61,312 crore.

Amid weakening stocks,the combined market capitalisation of the top seven blue-chip firms tanked by Rs 32,219 crore last week,with mortgage company HDFC taking the biggest hit.

While ITC,Oil amp; Natural Gas Corpn ,Infosys,HDFC Bank,Bharti Airtel,Hindustan Unilever and HDFC witnessed losses in their market value,TCS,RIL and Coal India made gains.
