But contrary to what most people say,research has shown that job-hopping may not be the best 8211; or quickest 8211; way to the top. In fact,moves within the same company produce a greater number of and faster promotions than external moves.

Next time you8217;re considering a jump to a new company for a seemingly better title,remember that many hirers look for stability as well as experience and capabilities. Staying put and securing an internal promotion,even if it takes a little longer,may yield better career results in the long term.
