Tracking a weak trend overseas,silver prices declined 0.18 per cent to Rs 57,300 per kg in futures trade today.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange,silver for delivery in May fell by Rs 105,or 0.18 per cent to Rs 57,300 per kg in business turnover of 1,299 lots.
Similarly,the metal for delivery in July shed Rs 108,or 0.17 per cent,to Rs 58,909 per kg in 59 lots.
Analysts said besides weak trend in the Asian region,absence of any cue from domestic markets,kept pressure on the silver prices at futures trade here.
Meanwhile,silver lost 0.58 per cent to USD 32.40 an ounce in Singapore.
