Korean-mobile maker Samsung has sold ten million handsets of its latest smartphone Galaxy S3 in less than two months,according to a report.
Galaxy SIII broke the 10 million barrier in less than half the time it took its predecessor,the Galaxy SII,which is the bestselling Android handset so far.
Shin Jong-kyun,the president of Samsung”s mobile division,revealed the figures on Sunday,according to the Korean media.
The Galaxy SIII,introduced on May 30,was Samsung”s most anticipated smartphone to date,attracting three million pre-orders,the reports says.
According to the report,Samsungs latest mobile model has several technological advantages over the iPhone 4S,including a quad-core processor,NFC tap to pay capability and a 4.8-inch screen.
