Foreign Minister Salman will meet his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Brunei next week,their third meeting in two months.
Khurshid will fly out to Brunei on June 30 for the 20th ASEAN Regional Forum and the 3rd East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers Meeting. He will also attend the 11th India-ASEAN ministerial conference on July 1 and 2,the spokesperson of his ministry Syed Akbaruddin said Friday.
The regional forum is slated to discuss ways to enhance political and security cooperation between its 27 members.
On the sidelines of the meeting,Khurshid will have discussions with his counterparts from China,Bangladesh and Australia.
The foreign ministers meeting will discuss cooperation in education,energy,finance,disaster management and connectivity. And at the India-ASEAN meeting,ASEAN is expected to unveil proposals on the crucial issues of food security and a track-II study group,the spokesperson said.
From Brunei,Khurshid will travel to Singapore for a bilateral visit and return to India on July 4.
