RSS activist's body was found hanging from tree in a field near his home in Alirajpur.
An RSS activists body was found hanging from a tree in a field near his home in Alirajpur district on Monday. While the police said the 22-year-old RSS functionary appeared to have committed suicide,local RSS cadres alleged that it was a case of murder.
Jetarsinh Juvansinhs body was found around 10:30 AM at a field 100 metres from his home in a village about 25 kms from Alirajpur district headquarters.
Pointing to a few scratches on the body,the RSS cadres alleged that Jetarsinh had been murdered and gave the police 48 hours to unravel the case. They forced a few areas to shut down and threatened a bigger protest if the case was not solved within the deadline.
Additional SP Alirajpur Sitaram Satya told The Indian Express that the police were treating it as a case of suicide though the post-mortem report was awaited. Three years ago,a local man named Amarsinh had made an attempt on the RSS functionarys life and was convicted.
