Sending a strong message to the party ahead of Assembly elections in four states later this year,AICC vice-president Rahul Gandhi said on Thursday he would not tolerate anti-party activities and would crack down on indiscipline.

He is said to have then pointed to a life-size photograph of Indira Gandhi and said,Indira Gandhi is my inspiration and once I get after somebody,I never let up. Party indiscipline and anti-party activities will not be tolerated anymore.
At the six-hour meeting with party workers,Gandhi stressed on the need to unite as a party ahead of the assembly elections and the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. People talk about ticket distribution and such but none of this will happen till I see improvement in each block and district of Delhi, he was quoted as saying.
He asked Delhis ministers to start campaigns at the local level. Rahulji asked all the ministers to move out of their AC cabins and cars and start taking the partys message to the electorate. He also asked senior,veteran leaders not to consider block and district functionaries as competitors and work together instead, one of the leaders said.
