Tata Teleservices Ltd,one of the fastest growing pan-India technology telecom service providers,on Friday announced the launch of its new product under its CDMA brand Tata Indicom.
“The Pay per Call’ would break completely free from the usual pulse of one minute,charging subscribers a fixed charge on a per-call basis at just re.one for all local calls and rs.three for STD calls–regardless of the duration of the call,a senior company official said here.
SMS would be offered at a special price of 50 paise for both National and local messages and the offer is valid on all calls made by Tata Indicom subscribers to any mobile phone or land line connection,on any network,Sunil Pillai,Chief Operating Officer,Tata Indicom (operations) Rest of Tamil Nadu Circle,told reporters.
The pay per call product is initially being introduced on the pre-paid platform,and all subscribers who opt for it would be charged a very nominal daily fee of re.one to avail the unique tariff option.The service was available on all new Tata Indicom connections,and existing subscribers can adopt the offer with a one-time recharge of rs.96,he said.
Pillai also said the company would soon expand its network in Tamil Nadu,which is having 600 cell sites at present.
