
Veteran directors Amol Palekar and Ritupurno Ghoshs films will be screened this year in the Indian Premier section of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

O Maria is also in the list of three movies,which was selected from eight entries,the organisers said.
Palekars Marathi movie Dhoosar will premiere in IFFI along with Ghoshs Nauka Dubi,an adaptation of Rabindranath Tagores novel of the same name. The film stars Riya Sen and Raima Sen.
A six-member jury headed by Malayalam filmmaker Shamaprasad selected the three films.
Palekars Dhoosar is shot in Goa and features Smita Tambe in the lead role. Veteran actors of Marathi cinema Reema Lagoo,Upendra Limaye and Jyoti Subhash comprise the rest of the cast.
This year Goan filmmaker Rajendra Talaks O Maria will also premiere at the festival. The National Award-winning directors earlier movies Alisha,Antarnad and Sawariya.com have premiered at IFFI every alternate year since 2004.
O Maria is entirely shot in Goa and its title-song has been composed by internationally-acclaimed musician of Goan origin,Remo Fernandes.
