Pak trade minister to visit next week

After nearly 35 years,Pakistans Commerce Minister will be visiting India to explore more trade ties between the two countries.

After nearly 35 years,Pakistans Commerce Minister will be visiting India to explore more trade ties between the two countries. On an invitation from Minister for Commerce and Industry Anand Sharma,his Pakistani counterpart Makhdoom M Amin Fahim is scheduled to visit India from September 26-30 with a big delegation after the fifth round of talks on commercial and economic cooperation between the commerce secretaries of both the countries.

The 80-member Pakistani trade and industry delegation will visit Mumbai on September 26 and 27 and Delhi on September 28 and 29. Fahim and his team are expected to meet leading businessmen and hold business-to-business meetings with their Indian counterparts. Fahim will meet Sharma in Delhi,where several issues related to development of trade would come up to the discussion between the two ministers.

These include easing the procedure for issuing business visas,address issues related to custom duties and inclusion of new products in the trade list.
