Jessica,a young attractive model gets shot dead while trying her hand at bartending because she refused to serve a drink after closing hours.

Her sister Sabrina (Vidya Balan) and investigative television journalist Meera Gaity (Rani Mukerji) run from pillar-to-post to get the accused Manish,the son of a prominent politician,behind the bars. They put in all their available resources to outwit him at his own game.

Director Raj Kumar Gupta says: The months that I spent writing the story were the most difficult. The material was very sensitive and I had to bring it in the realm of cinema. I was not sure whether I would be able to do justice to the spirit of the story. But,I took it as a challenge. The film is my interpretation of the events.

The Buzz

Rani Mukerji,who plays a feisty scribe in the film,uses cuss-words,foul language and is also seen smoking in the film.
