Jarbom Gamlin, the new Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh,on Friday said there was no incursion of the Chinese into Indian territory in this frontier state, but asked the Centre to sort out certain disputes that exist between the two countries.
There are a few places where people from both sides do go into each others territory. After all,the McMahon Line is an imaginary line. There are no concrete boundary pillars in most places (along the China border), Gamlin, who took over as Arunachal Pradeshs sixth CM on Thursday night said.
Gamlin (50),also asked NSCN factions not to create disturbances inside Arunachal. If they have any problem, they should go to the government of India with whom they have a ceasefire. And,since the GoI has given them designated camps, they should confine themselves to those camps.
Both factions of NSCN have been causing problems for the Arunachal Pradesh government by intruding into Tirap and Changlang districts adjoining Nagaland and Myanmar.
