Media firm Viacom18 today said its kids brand Nickelodeon has joined hands with Toy Triangle to distribute Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles products,including toys,stationery,publishing and apparel in India.
“Nickelodeon India will unveil the all new generation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) toy line,in association with India’s leading toy marketers and preferred distributors,Toy Triangle,starting early May,” the company said in a statement.
The TMNT range will mark Nickelodeon’s India foray into the action toys category,it added.
The new range of toys is priced between Rs 699 and Rs 8,999,and will be available in leading large format retail stores like Hamleys,Shoppers Stop,Hypercity and Reliance Timeout,the company said.
Commenting on the development,Viacom18 Senior Vice President and Business Head (Consumer Products) Sandeep Dahiya said: “Beginning with toys,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will soon force their way into other key categories — stationery,back-to-school,publishing and apparel amongst others.”
