Actor Murli Sharma is back to Telugu films after a gap of two years. He is playing the bad cop in the untitled film, directed by Eeswar Reddy, which is being shot in and around Hyderabad. It also stars Sri Venu,Kamalini Mukherji,Giri Babu,Ali,L.B.Sriram and Brahmanandan in key roles. Following the completion of two schedules, the third and final spell will comprise shooting of the climax scenes.
For the first time,Murli might attempt to dub in his own voice for the film since Telugu is his mother-tongue. Plans are on to release the film in October/November.
This would be Murlis third Telugu movie after Atithi, for which he bagged the Nandi award and Kantri with NTR Junior.
The reason for the two-year gap,he says,is because he was busy with Hindi films. He has already completed work in Hindi movies like Hook Ya Crook,Raftaar,Salon,Lakshman Rekha,Golmaal 3 and Tees Maar Khan and he is eagerly awaiting their release. He has a cameo in Dabangg that released last week.
