Popular MTV anchor Raghu Ram recently faced the ire of Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) activists who blackened his face during a promotional visit in Pune.
Raghu,along with co-anchors of MTV Roadies Rajiv and Rannvijay,was targetted by a group of 15 odd ABVP activists including five girls when he was participating in a street rally,ABVP spokesperson Shailendra Dalvi said.
The protest was organised to condemn the obscene language being used by Raghu during the TV program- me which was not in keeping with the Indian culture,said Dalvi. No complaint has been filed with the police in connection with the incident.
