The family members of a 13-year-old girl,who was brought to a private hospital for an operation in Kareli area of the city,have alleged that the hospital staff got her dumped by the roadside in Jaunpur after the girl died during the operation.
They have also alleged that the staff kept the girls mother in the dark by telling her that she was only unconscious while asking her to accompany her daughter home.
While a case has been registered in this connection on the orders of the district magistrate,the hospital staff has denied the allegations. No arrests have been made so far.
In a similar incident early this month,two destitute patients,who had been admitted to Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital,were taken out from there and dumped in Jhunsi. One of the patients had later died. Three persons,including two ward boys,had been arrested in the case and a junior doctor was also named in the FIR registered in this connection.
