Mamata Banerjee on Facebook: Justice Ganguly must resign at the earliest

Banerjee had earlier written a letter to the President urging him to take action against Ganguly.

Even though JusticeA K Ganguly is yet to explain his stand on the findings of the three-member panel appointed by the Supreme Court for investigating the sexual harassment allegation against him,West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has once again demanded his resignation from the post as chairperson of the West Bengal Human Rights Commission “at the earliest”. She had earlier written a letter to the President of India urging him to take action against Justice Ganguly.

On Friday evening,Banerjee in Facebook said she has already written two letters to President Pranab Mukherjee requesting him to take “urgent necessary action” to remove Justice Ganguly from his office at the “earliest”.
