Be Careful was the first film to be shot on Walking Street,a red- light area in Pattaya.
When director Chandrakant Singh he had earlier made Rama Rama Kya Hai Drama told his actors Rajniesh Duggal,Tanisha Mukerji,Zayed Shaikh and Kiran Rathore that they would be shooting on Walking Street,a well-known red-light area in Pattaya, they were dumb- struck. Not only did it mean that they would be filmed strolling down the infamous street, but when business was in full swing since they would be shooting from seven in the evening to seven in the morning.
Real prostitutes formed the backdrop together with a lot of lady boys eunuchs who are strikingly tall and beautiful. Work was also going on as usual in the area, reveals Singh, who also added that there were no mishaps, except that actor Sanjay Mishra liked one girl, who turned out to be a lady boy!
Shooting in this area was crucial as the story revolves around two guys Rajniesh and Zayed and their decision to go to Bangkok to have some fun on the pretext of being there for a business deal, and how their wives also land up there.
The other highlight of the film will be an item number by Tulip Joshi, which was shot in a real striptease bar.
One hitch was that the director had no monitor and the actors who have the habit of walking up to a monitor after every shot would feel very insecure about how the scenes had turned out. Thankfully, once back in Mumbai I showed them the rushes and they were all happy, smiles
Set in Bangkok, 90 percent of the film was shot in cities like Pattaya and Bangkok. Be Careful releases on November 19.
