Kingfisher Airlines reported a Rs 1,152 crore loss for Q4 of fiscal 2011-12,more than thrice that of the same quarter last year. The airline operated at less than a third of its last years capacity. It had reported a loss of Rs 360 crore a year ago. For the full fiscal,the airline reported a loss of Rs 2,328 crore,more than twice that of the previous year and net revenues fell 12 per cent to Rs 5,715 crore.
With the airline operating only 120 flights per day from mid-February,its sales fell 54.5 per cent to Rs 741 crore. The airline paid Rs 684 crore to lessors for returning planes before the lease tenure and spent Rs 338 crore in reconfiguring aircraft.
