MATES,Madison Worlds entertainment unit,has signed a Rs 100 crore deal with Bollywood actor,John Abraham for exclusive management of his endorsements,appearances,events,licensing,television tie-ups and marketing representation for three years. This is the biggest deal any Bollywood celebrity has entered into with an agency for his representation.

A&E Television Networks,Network 18 in joint venture
A&E Television Networks (AETN) and Network18 Group have reached an agreement to form a joint venture,AETN-18 India.
The joint venture (Network18 Group with 51 per cent stake and AETN with 49 per cent) will be based in Mumbai. This venture will be owned by AETN and New TV18 eventually (the broadcasting business company post recently announced restructuring). AETN-18 will launch HISTORY,BIO and other popular AETN channels in the Indian market. Business news channel Bloomberg UTV has rebranded its website as UTVMoney.com. The website features real-time stock market data and aims to help investors by providing information about investment decisions.
In a world where there are just too many tips with no way to tell good from bad,this new website acts as a credibility manager for celebrity tippers who make predictions on several TV channels, said Deepak Lamba,business head,Bloomberg UTV.
UTVMoney.com will also allow users to offer regular tips and build their individual reputations in a space which is ruled by a handful,he added.
