Jagan meets President over bifurcation

Jagan continued his outreach to political parties to assess the 'emerging political situation'.

Taking forward his campaign against division of Andhra Pradesh,YSR Congress leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday knocked on the doors of President Pranab Mukherjee urging him to consider the “tempestuous outrage” against the division and intervene to stop the “unilateral” and “undemocratic” division of the state. He continued his outreach to political parties to assess the “emerging political situation”.

Sources in the YSR Congress said his meetings with Mamata Banerjee and Sharad Yadav was an attempt to “engage” with forces which could play a significant role in the post-election scenario.
