India to US: Iran oil cut to slide further

New Delhi also discussed with the US officials about the possibility of import of liquefied shale gas from the US.

Indian officials are understood to have told the visiting US Special envoy and Coordinator for International Energy affairs Carlos Pascual that crude import target from Iran reduced by 11 per cent this financial year will slide further,government sources said on Tuesday.

New Delhi also discussed with the US officials about the possibility of import of liquefied shale gas from the US.

Sources said that there is an expectation that the United States would “positively consider this”.
