Horsetrading: CBI raids MLAs,aides

The CBI raided the premises of MLAs linked to the two Independent Rajya Sabha candidates whose names surfaced during the probe into horsetrading charges during the March 30 elections

The CBI on Wednesday raided the premises of MLAs linked to the two Independent Rajya Sabha candidates whose names surfaced during the probe into horsetrading charges during the March 30 elections. The two RS candidates were businessman R K Agrawal and industrialist Pawan Dhoot.

While a team searched the farm house of Agrawal’s son-in-law Sumitra Shah at Jharsuguda in Orissa,another team raided the premises of Independent MLAs Chamra Linda and Bandhu Tirkey in Ranchi.

The residences of RJD MLA Sanjay Yadav’s father Vakeel Yadav in Godda and JMM MLA Sita Soren’s father Bodh Manjhi in Jharsuguda and her PA Rajendra Mandal were searched.
