The country’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero Honda today reported its highest ever monthly sales at 5,05,553 units in October,registering a jump of 42.75 per cent over the same month last year.
The company had sold 3,54,156 units in the corresponding month last year,Hero Honda said in a statement.
This is the first time that the company’s sales figure has crossed five lakh mark.
“The previous record of highest-ever monthly sales was in May this year when Hero Honda sold 4,35,933 two-wheeler units,” the statement said.
Besides,for the 5th consecutive time,the company has recorded more than four lakh dispatch sales in a single month.
“This record of over half-a-million sales in a single month created by the company is extremely encouraging as it clearly demonstrates the confidence our customers have in our brands,” Hero Honda Motors Senior Vice-President (Marketing and Sales) Anil Dua said.
A refreshed product range,innovative branding and marketing initiatives,particularly revolving around the Commonwealth Games,can be attributed to this success,he added.
“Going forward,we are hopeful of continuing the momentum by staying true to the same winning strategy,” Dua said.
