“Several insurgent groups have become active along the inter-state boundary. The security forces have ascertained that the killing of seven persons in a village in Goalpara last week was the handiwork of United Achik Liberation Army. The GNLA has also stepped up its activities on the Meghalaya side close to our districts,” the CM said at a press conference.
