Govt must act firmly on China intrusions: BJP,SP

The BJP and SP on Tuesday expressed concerns over Chinese intrusion into the Indian territory and demanded that the government should act firmly and take other parties into confidence

The BJP and SP on Tuesday expressed concerns over Chinese intrusion into the Indian territory and demanded that the government should act firmly and take other parties into confidence.

“China’s interference in India is very serious. The nation should be told the truth. The BJP is deeply concerned about the interference by China on the borders with India. It is a very serious matter. If there is some danger,the government must take the country and the Opposition into confidence,” said BJP deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The issue,SP sources confided,was discussed at the party’s parliamentary party meeting before the assembling of Parliament after which SP members trooped into the well of the Lok Sabha and disrupted the proceedings.
