CMJ varsity head writes to Pranab against Guv

The “untraceable” chancellor of the controversial CMJ University,Chandra Mohan Jha

The “untraceable” chancellor of the controversial CMJ University,Chandra Mohan Jha,in a letter to the President has accused the Meghayala Governor R S Mooshahary of ‘ulterior motives’. The CID last month had issued NBW against Jha.

In the letter signed on June 17,Jha has accused Mooshahary of “rash,reckless and imprudent action” and sought the President’s intervention to inquire into the “intention,motivation and purpose” and “dictatorial impulses” of the Governor as Visitor leading to the varsity’s closure. A copy of the letter was emailed to The Indian Express on Sunday.

Mooshahary,currently in Chennai,said Jha was making a desperate attempt to malign him by making false allegations.
