After a show of strength at the Congresss Shakti Rally in Gohana on Sunday,Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and his MP son Deepender Hooda are scheduled to meet party vice-president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Monday.
Sources said the duo will give the rallys report to Rahul and also discuss its future implications in the states political scenario.
While addressing the rally,Hooda appealed to the AICC general secretary and partys state incharge Shakeel Ahmed to give at least 50 per cent of tickets to youth in Haryana. The Hoodas are sure to earn brownie points in the eyes of party high command after mobilising a huge crowd despite the fact that Gohana and its neighbouring areas are considered Hoodas stronghold.
While Hooda and his team of legislators displayed their strength in Gohana, other Congress leaders are also set to jump into the poll fray. Senior state leader and former Union minister Venod Sharma will launch a state-wide campaign to woo non-Jat voters through a massive campaign from November 16.
