The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday suspended another judge for alleged involvement in the cash-for-bail case,in which a CBI Special Court judge granted bail to mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy on May 11 allegedly after being paid a bribe of Rs 10 crore.
K Lakshminarayana Rao,a judge of the City Civil Fast Track Court,became the third judge to be suspended in connection with the case.
The CBI had found that First Additional Special Court Judge P Pattabhirama Rao was paid a bribe to give Gali bail. The HC has already suspended him and Dr D Prabhakar Rao,a judge of the family court and 3rd additional district judge at Srikakulam.
