BKI man held from airport

An alleged active member of terror group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) was arrested from the Indira Gandhi International airport on Monday

An alleged active member of terror group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) was arrested from the Indira Gandhi International airport on Monday. Sources said Narender Singh alias Raju was on his way to Germany to meet BKI chief Harvinder Singh to organise terror activities in India.

He was taken to the Special Cell at Lodhi Colony where he confessed to his whole plan,the source said.

From his suitcase,police recovered a CD that had ‘AK 47’ written on it in Hindi and Punjabi and contained a photograph of Indira Gandhi. Six calendars were also recovered,with a photograph of slain terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his articles. After producing him in court,the police sought a seven-day remand to take him to Jalandhar.
