BJP team meets Alva,alleges 11 scams by Gehlot govt

A delegation of the state unit of the BJP submitted a memorandum to Governor Margaret Alva

A delegation of the state unit of the BJP submitted a memorandum to Governor Margaret Alva Tuesday pointing out 11 alleged scams by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The delegation was led by party member Kirit Somaiya.

The memorandum states that the 11 scams in Rajasthan include projects that have a turnover of over Rs. 25,000 crores and several thousand crores have been lost in scams.

The alleged scams mentioned in the memorandum include – Statue circle project,scams related to the firm Om Metals Pvt Limited where Gehlots son works,Dr Kamla Beniwal Krishi Sahkari Samiti scam,allotment of mines to the chief ministers family members in Jodhpur,Robert Vadras land deals in Bikaner,power scam and 108 ambulance scheme,among others.

Somaiya was accompanied by other BJP leaders such as Rajendra Singh Rathore,BJP National general secretary Kiran Maheshwari,state BJP vice president Digambar Singh,legislators Rao Rajendra Singh and Arjun Meghwal.

The delegation sought an inquiry into the alleged scams.
