Four months after it started killing wild animals on Bhopals outskirts,a tiger has finally been captured on camera.
Residents of Kerwa Dam and Kaliasot areas spent many a sleepless nights when their animals started becoming the tigers prey. But it took the image, captured on a camera installed by forest department after repeated complaints, for the tiger to be taken seriously by authorities.
We will capture and shift the animal to a national park, Forest Minister Sartaj Singh told The Sunday Express.
Forest officials are divided over the course of action, with some arguing that the tiger has established its territory nearly 40 km away from Ratapani sanctuary from where it is believed to have strayed.
