With election dates expected to be announced anytime now,it was a frantic Friday for ministers. Apprehensive that it was their last working day before the model code of conduct came into force,they called a rash of press conferences Friday last week to make announcements or release achievement booklets. As many as seven ministers held formal press meetings. Many more participated in seminars,programme launches and inaugurations.
