Acquitted of rape bid,IAS officer reinstated in UP

A month after a local court had acquitted 2001 batch IAS officer Shashi Bhushan Lal Susheel of the charge of molesting and attempting to rape a girl

A month after a local court had acquitted 2001 batch IAS officer Shashi Bhushan Lal Susheel of the charge of molesting and attempting to rape a girl on a moving train,the UP government posted him as special secretary,Irrigation,on Sunday. Susheel was special secretary,Technical Education,when the incident took place in October 2012. After his arrest,he was placed under suspension. Following his acquittal,his suspension was revoked a few days back.
