Two teachers of a residential school have been booked after parents of a five-year-old student complained to the police that their son was tortured for urinating and vomiting in the class since he was very unwell.

According to the police complaint, the boy,Vishal Parmar,a Standard 1 student of N K Ashram Shala at Ranip, was made to stand in the ‘rooster position’ outside the class for two hours and was then branded with red-hot tongs on his private parts on March 1.

According to the police complaint lodged by the boy’s father,Ganesh Parmar,he received a call from the number 9426541752 on Thursday saying their son Vishal was unwell and that they must take him home soon.

The boy’s mother rushed to school and brought him home.

The boy did not show any symptoms of being unwell but was scared.

The police said the teachers, named in the complaint as Anil and Jaykar, heated up a pair of tongs and one of them hit the boy’s private parts with them since the ailing boy could not control urinating and vomiting in the classroom.

When the boy’s mother was bathing him at their home, she saw the marks on his body.

She asked the boy about it,but he kept mum. While he was asleep at night, the boy urinated again on bed and got up frightened.

When asked again, the boy finally told them about his ordeal.

The boy’s sister,Asmita (8),also studies in the same school.

The police have registered a case of assault but are yet to question the school authorities.
