Daniel Ricciardo has no issues in leaving his Hispania racing seat for Narain Karthikeyan for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix as the Australian says he is happy to just be a part of the excitement at the new Formula One venue.

Karthikeyan drove for Hispania in the first half of the season before being replaced by Ricciardo but the Indian was assured a racing seat for his home Grand Prix.

“I am not sure 100 per cent sure what’s happening but at least I will be driving in the practice session and I am always excited when on F1 track. When it’s (making space of Narain) part of the deal and agreement, you follow it,” said Ricciardo.

“I still have lot of races left in the season and you look forward to many more things when you do not race. You look for support of the fans. It’s always exciting to go to new venue and see the track,” the Red Bull-supported Australian racer, added.
