Men cant live the best life when they are on their own,a new study claims.
A two-year study by Edinburgh University focused on the living standards of more than 140 men and women aged 25 to 44.
It was found that more men than women suffer money and health problems when left all alone.
Also, the men are more likely to feel lonely and to earn lower salaries than their female counterparts.
With the predicted increase in the proportion of one-person households there are implications for a range of social provision such as income support, pensions, health and housing, the Daily Express quoted Researchers Professor Lynn Jamieson, from the Centre for Research on Families and Relationships, who led the research,as saying.
