After a few weeks of training at the NIS,Patiala, boxers Akhil Kumar and Jitender Kumar are back to where they feel they train the best Durban. The duo left for South Africa late on Thursday night and will be there till March 3.

Akhil and Jitender are being accompanied by trainer Heath Mathews and coach Jaydev Bisht. As of now,the training camp will be till March 3,but we may extend once we reach Durban, Akhil said.

This will be the third stint in South Africa for both the boxers, who had earlier trained there before the Beijing Olympics and the World Cup in December. Its a matter of trust and confidence. Everytime we train there, the results have been good, added Akhil, who has moved up to a higher weight category (57kg).
