It was mixed luck for India in the semi-finals of the team events with the boys making the title round against favourites Malaysia while the girls went down to Malaysia in the Asian Junior Squash Championship here on Thursday.
The Indian boys defeated Korea 2-0,with Aditya Jagtap opening the account with a 11-5,11-8,11-6 win over Seung Woo Jin in 23 minutes.
Ravi Dixit then bounced back from a two-game deficit to edge out Won Suk Choi 5-11,2-11,11-5,11-5,11-8 in 45 minutes and set up a title clash with Malaysia.
In the absence of top ranked Dipika Pallikal,who hurt her hamstring in the last group league match on Wednesday,the Indian girls team went down 2-0.
Asian champion Low Wee Wern and sister Low Wee Nee were too good for Anwesha Reddy and Anaka Alankamony.
Reddy lost 11-3,11-8,15-13 to Wern while Anlankamony went down 10-12,11-9,14-12,11-9 to Nee.
