Smriti Mehra will tee off at the 15th and final leg of the of the Hero Women’s Professional Golf Tour with an aim to not only win her seventh title of the season but also wrap up the Order of Merit,which she is leading by a handy margin. The veteran golfer,who was once on the LPGA Tour,has been in great form and has won six of the 14 events this season. In the first round of the 15th and final leg at the BPGC she has been paired with Nalini Singh Siwach.

London dream over for US team

Having already lost to Canada,the US football team needed to beat El Salvador in their Group A encounter,but it wasn’t to be. The US had roared back from a 2-1 deficit to take a 3-2 lead,thanks to Terrence Boyd’s second strike of the match and a Joe Corona goal midway through the second half. The home fans’ were silenced into injury time,when Jaime Alas scored for El Salvador to snatch a last four berth at the expense of their opponents.
