Amir released from jail after three months

London: Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir,serving prison for spot-fixing during,has been released from jail on Wednesday after completing just half of his six-month term. The 19-year-old left-arm pacer,who is appealing in the Court of Arbitration for Sport against a five-year ban imposed on him by the International Cricket Council,will remain in London for a few days to discuss with his lawyers before returning to his home in Pakistan.

Prize money rise for top 4 Test teams: ICC

DUBAI: The top four Test teams will receive more prize money from the International Cricket Council next year. The top-ranked team on April 1 currently receives $175,000,but that will increase to a minimum of $450,000 (2013),$475,000 (2014) and $500,000 (2015) in a total pool of $3.8 million.
