Bangladeshi man beaten to death by his four wives

He was clubbed to death allegedly by his four wives for cheating on them by keeping his marriages a secret.

A Bangladeshi man was clubbed to death allegedly by his four wives for cheating on them by keeping his marriages a secret.

Auto-driver Yunus Bapari died at Kabirpur village under sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday,New Age newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The 46-year-old reportedly went to a fair last Monday in Faridpur town along with his two wives where they bumped into his third wife,the newspaper said.

Three wives were caught unawares when the information about his fourth wife was revealed to them. Thereafter,Yunus was taken to the fourth wife’s residence and beaten mercilessly by them,the newspaper quoted locals as saying.

Yunus was admitted to a hospital in a critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries later,it said.

According to Shariah law,a man is allowed to take four wives with their consent.
