New look for Arcot Road

CHENNAI, June 22: Arcot Road in Chennai, or NSK Salai as it is now known, presents a new look, after two weeks of hard work by Corporation officials. An 80-foot stretch of the road, from Meenakshi College to Virugambakkam, has been declared litter-free, and implementation of the scheme has been no easy task, as the area is a congested one, with a number of offices, residences, educational institutions, hospitals, hotels, theatres and shops.
