
October 22: The postmortem conducted on the body of Rajesh Kumar, an apprentice in Maruti Udyog Ltd who was found dead mear a rail track here, has revealed that he died of suspected poisoning.
The post-mortem performed at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, has ruled out the possibility of death due to injury. The highly decomposed body of Rajesh Kumar was found near the railway track, eight km from the factory on October 18.
The Government Railway Police had sent the body to the Medical College, Rohtak, to ascertain the cause of death. According to sources, no external and internal injury marks were found on the body, which rules out the possibility of death due to a railway accident.
Medical college authorities of Rohtak has sent the viscera report of the deceased to a forensic laboratory to identify the poison. Workers at the factory have alleged foul play by the management of the factory in the death of Rajesh Kumar.
