Malegaon blast: Mumbai ATS team looks for Vadodara link

A team of the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Mumbai police visited the city on October 29 as part of their investigations into the September 29 Malegaon blast.

A team of the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Mumbai police visited the city on October 29 as part of their investigations into the September 29 Malegaon blast.

Officials of the Special Operation Group (SOG) of the Vadodara police, who were part of the investigation, told Newsline that the visiting team had some specific information about links between the Malegaon blast and Vadodara.

“We were just asked to furnish details about some locations in the city which we did. We have not been given any information about who they were searching for and what information they had gathered about the Vadodara link with the blast,” said an SOG official.
