Maharashtra Governor S M Krishna has greeted people for the festival season.

Extending his good wishes for Diwali, Krishna called upon citizens to “share their joy with the poor”.

Stressing that “the spirit of Diwali encompasses one and all”, Krishna urged “let us resolve to share our joy with the least one, the underpriveleged poor who cannot celebrate the festival”.

“Diwali is a unique festival of joy. It is a festival of all — the young and the old, rural and urban, rich and poor”.

High lighting the universality of the festival, the governor said in a message “Diwali brings a new ray of hope for millions across the world. I extend my heartiest greeting”.
