West Indian skipper Brian Lara and Pakistani batsman Mohammad Yousuf will chase personal milestones in the third and final Test tomorrow.
Lara, the highest Test run-getter in the world, is just one hundred away from matching Sachin Tendulkar’s world record of 35 centuries while Yousuf needs another 149 runs to break West Indian great Vivian Richard’s record of 1710 runs in a calender year set way back in 1976.
Yousuf has already matched the record of seven hundreds in a year set by Richards and Aravinda de Silva.
“This is most likely to be my last Test in Pakistan and on a personal note I would like to do something special and leave with good memories of the ground,” Lara said today.

“But what is more important is that if we can beat Pakistan. We have not beaten a big team away from home for six years.” he said.
