It was another satisfying day for us. Though we played a little slow, we are in a position from where it is difficult to lose. I think Fleming has really outwitted his counterpart Rahul Dravid in this Test.

Other than Kumble, none of the other Indian bowlers looked penetrative. I think Dravid could have tried Sehwag earlier, he couldn’t have done worse. Indians also looked one bowler short.

Indian wicketkeeper Parthiv Patel had another bad day behind the stumps but he could take heart from the fact almost all the Indians have been really unimpressive in the match. Moreover, he is too young to cope up with such pressure.

As far we are concerned, Styris played a superb knock. His dismissal seemed to put a halt on the New Zealand scoring, but McMillan carried on from where he left in Ahmedabad and looks certain for another century. The wicket looks flat and if things go this way, who knows, we might win the Test and the series. (As told to Arunima Sehgal)
