Sharjah, March 24: A beaming Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly on Thursday said the five-wicket win over Pakistan was a good comeback after their 10-wicket mauling by South Africa in the Cup opener on Tuesday.
Pakistan skipper Moin Khan said it was a bit difficult to score with the ball keeping low.
“We gave our wickets very easily, but I must compliment the bowlers for making the Indians struggle for runs,” he said of Pakistan’s inability to build a big partnership.
“I am very much happy the way youngster Imran Nazir performed, but the middle order should have done much better,” he said.
